What does a nice taste mean? This could not be denied, though those who do have it define the vector of the historical development much earlier then other. Taste is like a device for navigation, making it possible to find the way in the conditions when there is an actual lack of information. Taste and culture are rather deeply and at the same time dramatically and mystically interrelated: the more subjective taste demands are the more “sagacious” it is, the more culture in its turn will favor its esthetic ideal in the future.

Key words: Mars, Cydonia, dilemma, artificial, natural, exohistory, reconstruction.

The article is devoted to the discussion of the hypothesis on the nature of the complex of different objects in the Cydonia region on Mars. If we accept the assumption that the part of the complex is artificial, then we can try to reconstruct some aspects of the exohistory, in this case we could speak about the civilization which had existed on this planet earlier, before the catastrophic change of the climate happened. In particular, the comparative peculiarities of the biological and social evolution can be discussed and also we can suggest the existence of the worship to the Sun. A conclusion has been made that it is necessary to continue the further exploration of this region. This hypothesis gives us an opportunity to assume that the probability of the intelligence life is relatively high but the probability of the fact that those civilizations were ruined or destroyed also exists and is higher than it is usually considered.
